Here at the Brain Resource Center we offer the latest advancements in health psychology and applied neuroscience in assessment and treatment of various conditions, and performance enhancement for individuals interested in peak performance.

Kamran Fallahpour, Ph.D.

Dr. Fallahpour is a Clinical Psychologist and the director of the Brain Resource Center, New York. His clinical practice and research activities are focused on health psychology,applied neuroscience and computer-human interface. Dr. Fallahpour has years of experience in assessment and treatment of various psychological and neuropsychological conditions that have their roots in the brain, the psyche, and physiology. Applying the latest findings from research in health psychology, and neuroscience, he has brought together the latest and most effective tools and techniques for a personalized, objective, and integrated approach to assessment and treatment of psychological and neuropsychological disorders. Dr. Fallahpour's current research includes participation in international trials identifying biomarkers in depression and ADHD, as well as, helping develop one of the largest databases of brain, cognitive, and genomic data across mental disorders. In addition to clinical and research activities, he has contributed to design and implementation of applications used for physiological monitoring and computer-human interface. Such applications are used in research, clinical practice, and cognitive assessment and training. Dr. Fallahpour is also affiliated with Columbia University College of Surgeons as an Instructor in Clinical Psychology at Roosevelt Hospital Center Department of Psychiatry.


Dr. Tovah Feldhammer, MD

Tovah Feldhammer, MD is a psychiatrist with twenty-five years of clinical experience. Dr. Feldhammer is also affiliated with Columbia University as an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry and as a teacher and supervisor for psychiatry residents. After receiving a medical diploma from the Technion – The Institute of Technology, Haifa, she completed her training in psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and a fellowship in consultation liaison psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx. She also served as a unit chief at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City before joining New York Presbyterian Medical Center.

Marcela Bonafina, Ph.D

Marcela Bonafina, Ph.D is a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in neuropsychological evaluations for both adults and children. Dr. Bonafina completed her doctorate in psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from the City University of New York and completed her internship in clinical psychology at New York University School of Medicine-Bellevue Hospital Center. Prior to joining the Brain Resource Center, Dr. Bonafina held the position of Research Scientist within the Department of Neuroscience at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. She is currently Chair of the International Liaison Committee of the Latin-American Neuropsychological Society.




Suzanne K. Falla, Ph.D

Suzanne K. Falla. Ph.D. has expanded her expertise in engineering science and Psychology specializing in Organizational psychology and executive coaching to bear a total Systems analysis approach. Dr. Falla heads the Brain Resource Center's major projects in Organizational Development and Peak Performance. Combining her background in behavior and systems as well as fluency in foreign languages and cultures she has expanded the role of Brain Resource Center into a highly visible force within the international community. Dr. Falla takes the lead in our Executive Coaching program. Dr. Falla has extensively coached executives and officers in the fields of finance, pharmaceutical, engineering, health care and law.





Dr. Jesus Gutierrez-Stone

Dr. Gutierrez-Stone completed his medical training and a transitional year residency in Internal Medicine at Damas Hospital in Puerto Rico prior to his current work in the area of Clinical Research. Since then Dr. Gutierrez-Stone has been involved with several clinical trials for a number of major pharmaceutical companies. These trials include anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, Alzheimer's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Peripheral Neuropathy and pain associated with depression among others. His interest and experience in advanced research methods has led him to join the Brain Resource Center research team where he is involved in a number of current and upcoming innovative trials being conducted at the Brain Resource Center. More recently he developed a novel idea for investigating decreasing pain associated with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and this is now being conducted at the Brain Resource Center in collaboration with Dr. Fallahpour.
